Poor quality, bad policy

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I own a dry cleaning, laundry and alteration store here in the US. I figured even if it doesn't fit my team of tailors can repair it. I ordered a tuxedo and it arrived miss-cut, poor fitting and poorly made. None of my staff were able to correct the issues or craftsmanship. They agreed by the photos then asked to have it shipped back to Spain so they can donate it to charity, then will remake the suit and I will have to pay another shipping charge. Shipping to Spain for the donation is 75.00 from the US when I can walk to the local charity center for free. They are very uncooperative and stern with returns, Shop locally first, it may take a small effort but you can avoid a big hassle and lost money.

Fit was good, quality was good - but a cut in the fabric spoiled the experience

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I was happy with the quality of the fabric (suit in Merino Wool) and the cut - it really fits quite well. With the exception of the shirt where the sleeves are a good inch and a bit too long (astonishing, as the jacket fits well). Craftsmanship also quite ok. Only problem: a small cut in one of the trousers just to the side of the pocket. Jumping through hoops with their customer service.... its not an alteration which they find difficult to comprehend. And they do not seem to understand that you cannot really run around in a business suit and have an obvious patch on the trouser. Of course you can "repair" a cut in the fabric - but you will see it clearly. And if you just have it glued it will come apart after a few cleanings. And now they are telling me that according to their policy they cannot remake the trousers - but max offer me a 20% credit (which I would of course never use as I most certainly will not go through this experience again).

STAY AWAY

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I spent $125 on a vest that I cannot wear due to fit. Their return/refund policy is a joke. They want me to get it tailored, but the job will be at least $50-$75 because the problem is so bad. I then have to go through tons of red-tape to get a reimbursement of ONLY $15! LOUSY COMPANY, VERY POOR SERVICE, RIP-OFF POLICIES! I went back and forth in emails with them, poor attitude, unwillingness to make it right, and a constant recitation to their "policies" which are designed to make sure they "guarantee" their work in the most minimal way possible, giving you ridiculously low reimbursement for a tailor to fix it.

Tailor4less - Suit Review from *** Georgia

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Unwearable suit, unbearable service The cool looking website along with the fake Italian names got me. Hey, I'll give it a shot. $370 later, I have garbage that can't be fixed. The suit arrives from China packed in a tiny envelope which I assumed were documents. I tried it on after a few days and the pants were way big, the jacket unbearably tight. I contact the company and they send me a form to take to a tailor. They didn't tell me in the email to open a ticket which apparently is the key to their guarantee and only is available for 30 days.......after that it is a no to any changes, new suit which they promise in their marketing or reimbursement of any kind. They count on you not reading the small print and give you so little extra material in the suit, it is virtually impossible for a tailor to do anything. They count heavily on the back and forth and stringing you along for the 30 days where they then tell you there is nothing they will do. You get what you pay for and material quality is average at best and not put together very well with basic stitching. It simply isn't worth you taking a chance for this level of quality and non existent customer service. Wait for a sale from a reputable store where you have options if it doesn't fit. This is another scam Chinese company trying to make a quick buck.

You need to pay at least $700 minimum for a half decent suit, what do really expect for $370. Good suits are usually around $1000-**** and great suits $2,000 plus, plus.

You want a Aston Martin on a Toyota budget !

NEVER AGAIN

Not sure about the quality of the tight I have ordered, cause I've never received it. Now more than a week delayed with no explanation notwithstanding the constant (everyday) pressure. Now they tell me my packet is in england, and if I ask them the track number they simply refuse to give it to me. the shipping company confirms me 6 times that they never received the order, while T4L is unable to tell me where it is and refuse to give me any concrete information. Same on me to believe in such a company, will do my best to dissuade anyone to buy from it. . Such a shame, never again!!!!

Tailor4 more - import duty bill

I bought an overcoat from them, and they duly delivered. the coat is ok. Material frays already after 5 months so probably not going to repeat the purchase. But the real annoyance was that in order to get it into the UK DHL had to pay an additional £65 to get it through customs as it was sent from China. DHL didn't send me the bill until a month later. Guess what, T4Less won't refund that money as they have a policy of only getting involved before 30 days. I sensed that that was just an excuse. If I had done it within 30 days they would have come up with something else. They suggested not to pay DHL as it was over 30 days from the date of shipping and that DHL didn't have the right to ask for it. DHL think otherwise and have sent the money men after me not Tailor4less for some reason. As usual customer slotted. Would avoid if you don't want to be disappointed with the all round service.

Damaged item on receipt Linen Jacket

In the main the service has been OK but the last order I received was damaged the coller had quite a large rust coloured stain on it. when I contacted the company they asked me to have the jacket cleaned which I did. All proved ok. So what is the problem? Well Having the item cleaned and getting the item to the cleaner I spent about $40.00. I was advised all I could get back was $15.00 and that's it. Well that was a silly move because I am now reluctant to use their services any more. My issue is clearly I have been duded cos I never ordered a damaged jacket which I have had to pay most for rectification cost.

Repeat Customer, Never Again

Ordered a few items with them, was happy with most of it, even though I paid for my alterations and never asked for the reimbursement that they claim to offer. Had a new suit made that took them 3 weeks past the expected delivery date to receive. They kept telling me it was with their "quality control expert". I found this odd but figured they were being extra careful. Suit shows up a few weeks later, laughably small and nowhere near the measurements I gave them. Long story short, their customer service tells me there is nothing they can do to remake the suit for me to my specifications. I am currently disputing the charge with my credit card company and will be taking my hefty clothes business elsewhere.

Tailor4less - Suit Review from Peacehaven, England

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
They need to have better customer service, my partner and I bought suits for our wedding and his was completely the wrong order, it was meant to be a 3 piece white suit and they sent us a suit with white trousers, grey waistcoat and a black blazer!! - so he had no suit for his wedding! They would not give a refund or another suit alternative - they offered a remake of the white suit, So now he is stuck with a white suit which he will never wear! Terrible service, they NEVER accept fault, even if they are at fault - DO NOT BUY FROM TAYLOR4LESS!!

Excellent value tailored suit and very good quality

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
After a long time deliberating I decided to buy a tailored suit from online. I selected t4l because of the good reviews I'd read and the post sale alteration service which to me guaranteed a well fitting suit for a good price. I ordered a few samples which was very helpful in selecting colours and getting a few for the material. The ordering process was simple, however being an amateur with the tape it may be recommended to get someone experienced to measure you. Either that or the site to provide a measuring guide when you are in underwear rather than in clothing which can often differ. I received the suit in good time through Dhl and the tracking process was simple. On trying the suit it was big in places which I assume was partly down to my measurements. The quality of the garment is high and the choice of customisation is excellent. I am part way through having the suit altered and the customer service has been very attentive so far. Looking forward to having my suit 'fitting like a glove' very soon!

The review I wanted to read when I was looking for informations time ago

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
If, as I did, we begin to seek the reviews of Tailor4Less on the Internet, you will come across conflicting opinions that say everything and its opposite, I will try to clarify: Tailor4Less is an excellent idea, actually in the modern world, give your measurements and get delivered to your home a tailored blazer is just amazing. In my experience (I ordered a light yellow cotton blazer) the site does exactly what it promises: The customization possibilities are endless, the price is extraordinarily low, delivery times are not too short but at least they're punctual and the quality is absolutely satisfactory (to be clear, it is not an upscale tailored blazer but it has nothing to envy to a Zara blazer). In my case I made some small errors taking my own measurements by myself and then I had to make changes but in fact it was my fault and I am convinced that 90% of those who complain are actually guilty of the same error, but they rather prefer to blame the site. In summary, with more attention taking the measurements, I will continue to order from this site and I am very glad I found out.

Bad Quality Suits

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
They lie about materials, do not tailor to the correct measurements, no return policy and only offer a 50$ refund on alterations, when it costs close to 150$ to get the work done. You'd be better off going to the cheapest suit store in your city and getting something off the rack. Avoid this company at all cost. Its not worth spending money on. They are a scam. Tailor4Less is horrible

I just received my suit back from T4L after they tried remaking it. The suit came back and again did not fit. It is overall way too tight. It seems they cannot get anything right. I am not even going to bother anymore and just accept the $400 loss. You would be absolutely crazy if you order anything from this company. Their materials are inferior. Their service is horrible. You would get a better suit at a Walmart or a Target.

Useless unless I wanted a job as a clown at the circus

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Well , my first order with Tailor4less was for a wedding suit in black velvet . As you can imagine I was really looking forward to receiving my custom made suit and showing it off at the wedding . I duly provided my measurements using the website and waited for my delivery . It turned up around 10 days later and I eagerly opened it up . I was totally dismayed . The trousers could have fitted my partner in them as well ! and as for the jacket , it made me look about 20 stone ( I'm actually 14 stone ! ) Combined I could have auditioned as a clown for the circus . I promptly emailed Tailor4less and advised them of the issue . Their response was that they would cover alteration costs of £40 !! It would have cost closer to £600 as it was so ill fitted ! basically they will only make me a new one with revised dimensions which is fair enough but the material used I wouldn't use in my dogs bed its that poor . I asked if they would make a new one but in a different material and that I would pay the difference . Their response was a straight NO ! I made a claim with Paypal as the goods were not as described , they were just as useless and did nothing !! My advice is never in million years use tailor4less and try to avoid Paypal at all costs !!
